Nothing Phone 3 Now Available in India – Price, Offers, and Key Features

Nothing has officially launched the Phone (3) for sale in India, starting at ₹79,999. The brand calls it its first true flagship, ditching the old Glyph Interface for a new dot matrix design. This move, along with the premium pricing, puts the phone in the same category as top devices like the iPhone 16 and Samsung Galaxy S25. But some users are disappointed, especially because it uses a mid-range processor rather than a high-end one.
Despite mixed reactions, the Phone (3) is now up for grabs at Flipkart, Flipkart Minutes, Vijay Sales, Croma, and other top stores. The base model (12GB RAM + 256GB storage) costs ₹79,999, while the higher-end version (16GB RAM + 512GB storage) is priced at ₹89,999. Buyers can get up to ₹5,000 off with select credit cards and extra discounts through exchange offers, bringing the effective price down to around ₹62,000. Also, if you buy the phone today, you’ll get a free one-year extended warranty from Nothing.
What Makes the Nothing Phone (3) Special?
One of the main highlights is the transparent back with the new Glyph Matrix — a small dot-display paired with an off-center camera. This setup uses LED lights to show notifications in creative ways, which the company calls “Glyph Toys.” Nothing says this is the next step in its Glyph design, though it’s still unclear if users will find it useful or just a cool-looking feature.
The phone runs on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip — a strong mid-range processor. Compared to the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 used in the Phone (2), it promises 36% faster CPU performance, 88% better GPU speed, and 60% improved AI processing. Even though those numbers sound great, it’s still not a top-tier chip. This same chip can also be found in more affordable phones like the POCO F7 and iQOO Neo 10.
Camera Upgrades
The camera system has been upgraded too. On the back, it has three 50MP cameras — a main sensor with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), a periscope lens with 3x optical and 6x lossless zoom, and an ultra-wide camera. It also supports 60x AI zoom. On the front, there’s a 50MP selfie camera, which is a big jump from the 32MP camera on the Phone (2).
Battery and Charging
The Phone (3) has a 5,500mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging, 15W wireless charging, and reverse charging. These features should easily give you a full day of battery life, and the wireless charging is a nice bonus. Nothing claims the phone can last up to two days on one charge.
Display and Software
The front has a 6.67-inch flexible AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 4500 nits peak brightness, and HDR10+ support. The phone runs on Android 15 with Nothing OS 3.5. The company promises five years of major Android updates and seven years of security updates. Also, Android 16 with Nothing OS 4.0 will be released for the Phone (3) sometime between July and September 2025.
Final Thoughts
Nothing has created a unique place for itself with bold designs and a clean, easy-to-use interface. But in a price-sensitive market like India, ₹79,999 is a steep ask. The Phone (3) is aimed at users who care more about style and smooth software than top-end performance.
Even with strong competition in this segment, Nothing still manages to deliver a unique and polished experience, especially when it comes to design and software.
